CTS Highly Commended In NI Plumbing and Heating Awards 2014
A year since winning the Best Small Buisness Awards in Newry CTS Projects has achieved the ‘Highly Commended’ status at the Northern Ireland Plumbing and Heating Awards last week.
Over 300 people attended the gala black tie night at the Hilton Hotel, Belfast to celebrate innovation and excellence within the plumbing and heating industry.
The biennial awards are the only ones of their kind in the province and are organised by all-Ireland publication Plumbing & Heating Magazine, the only trade magazine for this industry, and sponsored by Flogas, leading Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG Gas), propane and butane supplier. The event attracted plumbing and heating engineers, manufacturers, plumbers’ merchants, M&E consultants and contractors to the awards night, which recognised companies and individuals across 10 categories.
The judges stated ‘A clear focus on staff investment made CTS Projects a perfect choice for the Highly Commended Award with the entry demonstrating a professional and expert approach to overcoming challenges in domestic installation with customer service clearly high on the company’s agenda.’
The team work balance at the Warrenpoint based firm has been identified as the key part of the company’s continuing success story.
And Managing Director Connaire McGreevy believes that the focus on the individual contributing to the overall company profile played a major role in scooping the award.
Less than eight years ago Connaire McGreevy set the firm up and now it is recognised across the island of Ireland for the quality of its work in relation to its innovative approach to energy efficiency and conservation.
“The quality of the labour pool helps us to achieve high standards and that helps us win awards like this one.
“We are expanding and trying to offer more services while keeping our core commitments. That is difficult but it is something that our team has risen to and now the reward is to win this prestigious title in the Domestic Contractor of the Year category for Northern Ireland.
“We are now moving on to a new growth and expansion phase in terms of the business where we are actively seeking to build strategic alliances with others firms across the island.
“Our objective is to be in a position where the strength of our network support will enable us to bid for the most complex of tenders.
“By doing so we are confident that the continued creation of new jobs both in our traditional sectors and in new areas of business will continue at a rapid pace,” Mr. McGreevy added.
