Winner of the 2013 Greater Newry Best Small Business Award

The team work balance at Warrenpoint based CTS Projects has been identified as the key part of the company’s continuing success story.

And Managing Director Connaire McGreevy believes that focus on the individual contributing to the overall company profile played a major role in scooping the Best Small Business prize in the Newry Business Awards.

“And to add to a great night we were also Highly Commended in the very competitive Green Business Award,” Mr. McGreevy said.

Founded just seven years ago CTS Projects is now recognised across the island of Ireland for the quality of its work in relation to its innovative approach to energy efficiency and conservation.

Connaire McGreevy said the high calibre of the work carried out by his team of South Down based workers was the best possible advertisement for CTS Projects.

“We take a great pride in the absolute quality of our work. There is a marvellous craft tradition right across our part of the world.

“And by tapping into that quality labour pool as a company we have been able to secure contracts to deliver energy efficiency schemes across a wide client range.

“Being able to work for local authorities on both sides of the border including Antrim Borough Council, Sligo County Council and Westmeath County Council as well as the Northern Ireland Housing Executive is obviously a huge challenge.

“But is a challenge that our superb team of workers continually rise to on a daily basis.

“Add in the contract work for an ever growing number of Housing Associations in Northern Ireland and it is clear that CTS Projects is perfectly positioned to take full advantage of the positive upturn in the economy.

“We are now moving on to a new growth and expansion phase in terms of the business where we are actively seeking to build strategic alliances with others firms across the island.

“Our objective is to be in a position where the strength of our network support will enable us to bid for the most complex of tenders.

“By doing so we are confident that the continued creation of new jobs both in our traditional sectors and in new areas of business will continue at a rapid pace,” Mr. McGreevy added.
